Happy February! We are excited for this month to finish up our Open cycle program, kick start the CrossFit Games OPEN, and see you guys have some big wins. With that being said, I already know some of you are feeling the pressure in your mind of why you shouldn’t sign up… To put it, it’s not about how well you perform. The magic of the CrossFit Open has never been about how well someone in our gym does. It’s about doing something as a group, collectively, that gets us uncomfortable, rallying around each other, seeing people do things for the first time. With the new year comes a reminder—whether you’re brand new or an Iron Cowboy veteran, you’ve chosen the path toward a better you. That choice isn’t easy. Showing up day after day is the hardest part. Motivation is fleeting. We can’t rely on it alone, because it never lasts. That’s why so many people start working out and eventually quit—or never start at all. Discipline is what carries you forward. I like to think of this gym as a lighthouse in a sea of chronic disease, and each of you represents what it means to live a healthy, intentional lifestyle in our community. You are the life boats helping...

🎄 We have officially reached the final stretch of 2025! This holiday season is when schedules will fill up; don’t get pulled off the rails. Hammer down, and stay focused on your health and wellness by just getting in here and moving. We have lots to share in this month’s newsletter, so let’s dive in! Member of the Month This month, I’ve selected Zach Huber. Depending on which class you attend, some of you may not even know Zach. Others might be thinking, “Wait… hasn’t he been gone?” And you’d be right. Zach trains at Simplot and also coaches high school football, which means he’s away from the gym a lot during the fall. So why Zach? Because every year—now going on year three—he commits to coaching Football, steps away from CrossFit for roughly 12 weeks, and then does one of the hardest things we all know: he comes back....
